It was a busy day for Apple fans as the company introduced a plethora of new products. Here’s a rundown of everything announced.
iPhone Air, iPhone 17, and iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max
The star of the show was the new iPhone Air. The new model is 5.6mm thin and surrounded by a titanium frame. It offers a 6.5-inch Always-On screen with an adaptive refresh rate of 120HZ.
It also offers up to 3,000 nits peak outdoor brightness.
The Air’s front Center Stage front camera is square so you can take a landscape selfie without needing to rotate the phone. The single Fusion camera system on the rear provides the equivalent of four lenses.
Both the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max feature a revamped design to help make room for a larger battery. Both models feature the A19 Pro chip. The iPhone 17 Pro Max has the best ever battery life for an iPhone with up to 39 hours of video playback.
All three lenses on the rear of the phones are now 48MP. The models also feature the Center Stage front camera.
The iPhone 17 features the ProMotion, always-on display, and A19 chip.
All four models can be preordered starting Friday and will arrive to the public one week later on Sept. 19.
The iPhone 17 starts at $799. The iPhone Air begins at $999 while the iPhone 17 Pro begins at $1099.
Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Apple Watch SE 3
The entire Apple Watch lineup received a big upgrade. All three of the new models— Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Apple Watch SE 3 now feature 5G connectivity.
Both the Series 11 and Ultra 3 can now alert users if high blood pressure is possibility detected over a 30-day period.
All three watch models can now provide a sleep score after a night’s sleep.
Series 11 and Ultra 3 have improved battery life as well with 24 and 42 hours, respectively.
An exclusive for the Ultra 3 is satellite connectivity when off the grid to text friends or emergency services.
The Ultra 3 screen is also larger without adding to the case size.
You can pre-order the three new models starting today with the watches arriving next week on Friday, Sept. 19. The Apple Watch SE 3 starts at $249 while the Series 11 starts at $399. The Ultra 3 starts at $799.
AirPods Pro 3
Apple also unveiled an updated version of the popular AirPods Pro 2.
A big highlight of the updated earbuds are the ability to track heart rate and calories and offer an integrated workout experience.
Active Noise Cancellation has been improved and is two times more effective than in the previous version.
With Live Translation, you’ll be able to communicate across different languages. It will be available in English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish with four more languages arriving by the end of the year.
Battery life is also improved with up to 8 hours of playback on a single charge, more than 33 percent better than the AirPods Pro 2.
The AirPods Pro 3 will retail for $249 and can be preordered today with an official arrival next week on Friday, Sept. 19.
