One of the best new additions in iOS/iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia is the new, standalone Passwords app. It provides a great way to store all of your important passwords available across multiple platforms.
But the app doesn’t allow you to securely store other private information like credit card number, bank account information, and more.
The updated Access 2 app provides a great companion to help store that important information on all of your Apple devices.
All of the information is stored in iCloud and remains inaccessible to anyone but the user themselves.
For more protection, you can also Face ID or Touch ID to authenticate the app each time you open it up.
The app is simple to use. Just start by entering the information you want. You can better organize everything with folders. You can also store secure notes.
When you need to find something, there is also a search function.
Access is a free download on the App Store. It’s for the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch. Mac, and Apple Vision Pro. You don’t need to sign up for an account to use the app.
In the free version, you can add up to five items. To add more, you’ll need a subscription. Two options are available—$3.99 monthly or $9.99 yearly.
You can also unlock the Access+ version for the lifetime of the app for $24.99.
